The troika no longer exists
Unfortunately the restaurant has closed.
Had reserved Saturday evening for 6 people. Restaurant is quaint and cozy, but only 4 other guests next to us. From the fairly clear menu there was less than half of the dishes on offer that evening. We were not informed of this when we called. According to the innkeeper, the restaurant will be closed indefinitely from January 2, 2020 for renovations. The drinks are completely overpriced, 4.25 € for 0.33 liters of beer is very sporty. Unfortunately the food did not come together. When the first were finished, the last one got his food. The portions are very small, the food itself is okay but not outstanding. (Mashed potatoes was out of the bag) For 6 people (each a drink, two additional glasses of wine, 1 main course, 1 small coleslaw, 2 appetizers and 2 appetizers of corrugated meat with bread) we counted a proud 225 euros. We still wanted vodka, was also out. The host's excuse - the day before was a group who drank 9 bottles. Instead, sweet wine was offered. Service is different ... Conclusion: too expensive, portions too small, very small selection
We were here 2 years ago for the company Christmas party. (The area was covered in snow - just magical.) Since then we have been visiting the Troika with family and friends every now and then. For my taste, a successful overall concept of traditional Russian cuisine, folk entertainment (music and dance) and cozy cosiness. Always happy!
I visited the troika to experience Ukrainian cuisine. Fortunately, the restaurant was open the first day (according to the landlord) because he was on vacation beforehand. He also apologized that there were restrictions on the courts. The restaurant was furnished with many small Ukrainian trifles (cups, flags, clothes) and Russian / Soviet finds in between. After ordering, the food came quickly. I can't complain about the food itself. It was delicious. There is a deduction for the above-average prices. And for the really few "real" Ukrainian dishes. Russian influences can often be seen. This is not what I feel about a Ukrainian restaurant (or what it should represent). Here everyone can decide for themselves whether they like it. I don't like it that way and wouldn't recommend the restaurant.
Pretty run down. In the past, and we have known the restaurant for many years, it was not possible to get a table at the weekend without a reservation. Live music, simple but good Russian / Ukrainian food and lots of vodka made each of our visits an experience. Today, unfortunately, only the shell remains. The service is rude, headless and bad. Over 50% of the dishes on the already greatly reduced menu were "out". The prices, however, are unreasonably high. The store is empty - which is understandable There was no mood. Too bad for the birthday, we came with 14 people. We had the restaurant to ourselves. It is of no use if the poor cook struggles with the few things available, what he conjured up was flawless.
Stayed here years ago, was great. There were yesterday. Highly throttled menu, many dishes, small portions, high price. Everything on the back burner. The good "troika times" are unfortunately over. A pity
A small, quaint restaurant! The food was very good and everything was freshly prepared! Nice and polite staff! Cozy and decorated in the Ukrainian style.
Actually beautiful Russian restaurant BUT the landlord breaks everything, it starts with the friendliness, the order, reorder, cleanliness, the toilets. The poor guy in the kitchen, goes out of his way - food tastes delicious - gets yelled and humiliated only by the innkeeper, can harm the guy
Cozy and nice restaurant. Food tastes very good, could be a bit more. Service is friendly and fast. Prices are a little too high. therefore a star deduction.
The best times for the restaurant are over. It used to be unthinkable to get a table on Friday without a reservation. Today, more than half of the seats were vacant. Why is it? The portions have become smaller and the menu was unfortunately thinned out. The quality of the food has declined. The landlord ran into clothes that I would only put in the bin. Otherwise, he seemed unkempt. Has done for me.
For a restaurant very proud prices are called. The landlord is remembered for his business acumen and political talk! His food certainly does not matter. At the cashier he was then unable to read the invoice amount in his favor - we generously rounded up and hoped that he would invest in a new visual aid. ;-)
I have not eaten that bad for years. The charm is unfortunately by the service and the food (which is better everywhere) slipped even deeper. No fireplace, no comfort, as it more reminiscent of a museum and nothing was touched. Save your way.
Great russian / ukrainian atmosphere, very delicious food.
We were eight in the troika and ordered a table. It was very cozy, just Russian kitsch. The food was good, but 4 food only lukewarm at the table. I think the food should be hot. We pointed the waitress, then at least the men got a beer spent. All in all it was a nice evening. There is a point deduction for the prices. They were very exaggerated. For a slice of toast with garlic and grated cheese we have 3.90 € and for a chicken broth with 3! small dumplings filled with meat about 6 euros paid. I liked that a lot. The prices for the main courses were ok. However, the portions are quite small.
Actually quite comfortable, unfortunately the food was too cold for the prices hot. Had expected more
No longer recommended: of 4 food we wanted to order were 3 allegedly sold out, even a certain wodkasorte is indeed on the map, but is no longer offered for lack of demand. Shame about the nice atmosphere ;-(
Rustic restaurant with delicious Ukrainian cuisine. You have to take some time to study the map so you do not accidentally miss a treat. The food is served as a small detail in rustic dishes. Service very friendly. That was a wonderful evening.
Authentic food, Baltica beer, Russian standard. Great times to be had here.
Small rustic restaurant with Ukrainian home cooking. Freshly cooked, all dishes very tasty in a cozy atmosphere. We recommend.
Went there with a large group (22 people). At the beginning, operation was a bit overwhelmed, that the invoicing was done individually or in pairs, but then did a great job over the evening (she had to do almost everything alone). Food was not outstanding, but absolutely okay. Drink prices are relatively expensive and do not match the information on the homepage. The ambience is rustic and quite cozy. The negative hammer came only at the end. The homepage states that company parties are open until 1:00 a.m. Nevertheless, shortly after 11 p.m., the question was not asked about the last drink request, but whether the customer wanted to pay in cash or by card. After the waitress was no longer visible for three quarters of an hour, she came with the bills. When asked a friendly question about a last drink or a nightcap, we were asked by an extremely unfriendly elderly gentleman (presumably the boss) to leave the locality. After a really nice evening, this very negative last impression remains, which is why the troika cannot be recommended !!
